Registering to Vote
Are you registered to vote? In order to be eligible to vote in this November's election, you must register to vote on or before Mon.,October 5. Confirm your voter registration here.
Voting Early by Mail
All Ohio voters are eligible to vote early by mail by requesting an absentee ballot. Early voting starts on Tues. October 6. Fill out online or print out the form to request a vote-by-mail application. Once you receive your mailed ballot, please fill out it and return it ASAP. It must be postmarked by November 2nd or you can return it in person to the Board of Elections Drop Box: 2925 Euclid Ave | Cleveland
Voting Early in Person

Voting on Election Day
Remember all voters must bring identification to the polls. Polling locations may have changed since the last election, so please confirm where you vote if you plan to vote in person on Election Day. If you requested and received an absentee or vote by mail ballot, you must request a provisional ballot if you vote in person.

ID Requirements

An unexpired Ohio driver’s license or state identification card with present or former address so long as the voter’s present residential address is printed in the official list of registered voters for that precinct;

A military identification;

A photo identification that was issued by the United States government or the State of Ohio, that contains the voter’s name and current address and that has an expiration date that has not passed;

An original or copy of a current utility bill with the voter’s name and present address;

An original or copy of a current bank statement with the voter’s name and present address;

An original or copy of a current government check with the voter’s name and present address;

An original or copy of a current paycheck with the voter’s name and present address; or
-
An original or copy of a current other government document (other than a notice of voter registration mailed by a board of elections) that shows the voter’s name and present address.
